Lead times
Stocked floors are usually dispatched within a few working days. Made-to-order and special-finish floors take longer because they are produced or finished to your specification — we confirm the expected date when we acknowledge your order. If part of your order will take longer, we will tell you rather than quietly holding the whole delivery.
On the day
- Deliveries are kerbside. Please make sure someone can help move packs indoors.
- Packs are heavy — a pack of engineered wood commonly weighs 20–30kg.
- Check the pack count and condition before signing, and note any damage on the paperwork.
- Tell us about access restrictions (narrow lanes, no parking, upper floors, restricted hours) when you order.
Before you book a fitter
Never book installation before the flooring has arrived and been inspected. Wood also needs to acclimatise in the room where it will be laid, so allow time between delivery and fitting as set out in the manufacturer's instructions.
Damaged or missing items
Let us know within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and your order number, and we will arrange a replacement or refund. See our returns page for the full process.
